IAL Consultants has recently published the first edition of a new market report on the West European Market for Essential Oils. The report provides an overview of the trends and legislative factors that have an impact on this increasingly important sector. Total production of essential oils by the major producing countries in Western Europe was approximately 33,600 tonnes in 1999. This is an increase of around 17% from year 1998.

Alberto Belle, Consultant at IAL, presents keynote speech at PU Latin America conference in Sao Paulo "An Overview of the PU Business in Latin America" was the title of Alberto Belle's paper presented at the Crain Communications conference 'PU Latin America' in Sao Paulo, Brazil between 28-30 August 2001. Total demand for PU raw materials in Latin America reached an estimated 575,000 tonnes in 2000.

IAL Consultants announces publication of new multi-client study "Global Overview of the Polyurethane CASE Markets" The latest multi-client in IAL range covering the Global polyurethanes industry, to include both consumption and production of polyurethanes coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers (CASE). The global market for all PU raw materials used in CASE products was estimated at over 2.3 million tonnes in 2000

An Overview of the European Radiation Curing Market IAL Consultants has brought together the latest information available on the European radiation curing market. The report draws on the extensive database that IAL has developed in the course of over 20 years of research into this industry. Demand for the main curable chemicals (monomers, oligomers & photoinitiators) used in radiation curing systems of all kinds - UV, EB and cationic - has been estimated at a combined total of 49,400 tonnes.
