Starting from 1 March, Nordmann UK is to distribute plastic additives from BYK throughout the UK and Ireland. The company's portfolio consists of several processing additives designed for polyurethanes.

PU-related additives include release agents, defoamers, deaerators, and viscosity reducers specifically designed for PU foams. The range includes processing additives for stiff and flexible PU foams blown by hydrocarbons or HFCs, as well as additives to prevent phase separation of polyol blends in storage tanks.

With manufacturing facilities in Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, the US, and China, BYK is a branch of Altana, a German manufacturer of specialized chemicals. The company's products are marketed under nine different names, including thermosets, thermoplastics, and PVCs.
