Carlisle Construction Materials LLC announced in April 2021 its plans to invest more than $60 million in the construction of an innovative, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Sikeston, Missouri. The company believed that the factory would support organic growth plans, in line with Carlisle's Vision 2025 strategy of investing in high-returning companies.
The facility was recently opened in June 2023 with a capital investment of more than $100 million. CCM is going to manufacture energy-efficient polyiso insulation at this new plant, which not only reduces energy expenses for building owners and operators but also helps cut GHG emissions.
Steve Schwar, president of Carlisle Construction Materials, said, "We at Carlisle are grateful for the warm welcome we have received from the State of Missouri and the people of Sikeston. This brand-new plant, which will create 100 jobs in the Sikeston region, is Carlisle's second location in Missouri. Carlisle is committed to success and growth here in Sikeston, which is an ideal location to serve our strategic and growing markets."
